Maryhope Howland Rutherford conducts quantitative and behavioral observation research on close relationships and health.

She has her PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is currently the Director of Research for the UConn-Office of Early Childhood Research Partnership and providing UX Research expertise for the digital transformation efforts for the State of Connecticut.

Before that, she was a Senior UX Researcher at Facebook on the Media Monetization and News Product teams.
